The Process
On the date of your session, I will create a space for you and your family to just be yourselves. Don't worry about what your kids will do, it's ok. For my family sessions, I give guidance and prompting through play, building space for actions to naturally occur. I am here to document you and your family's connection. Your full gallery will be returned within 3-4 weeks in an online gallery where you can download and get prints right from the print shop.
4.Your Session & After
Now that your date is booked, I will be sending over a location guide to help you choose where you would like to shoot, as well as a questionnaire to get to know you and your family better. We can also discuss outfits. If you would like to hop on a call to discuss the vision for your session, I am happy to set up a call.
3. Preparation & Planning
Once you have submitted your inquiry, you’ll get an automatic confirmation so you know your message was received. You can expect an email back from me within 24-48 hours with my investment guide and my availability.
2. Secure your date
Once you decide to move forward, I'll send over a custom proposal, pay your retainer, and sign your contract. Once you have completed everything, your date is officially secured.

Her way of capturing photos that tell a story is truly beautiful, and she was very patient and accommodating, even with our energetic little toddler during sunrise! I was reccommended to Kylene by a mutual connection that had used her in the past. Every bit of my experience with her was wonderful. She was easy to communciate with and book, got us in on fairlys short notice, and helped guide us through the location and styling process. We did family photos with her at sunrise, and she was patient and understanding with my 4 year old who took a minute to warm up to the shoot. She listened to my vision and executed better than I hoped. Beyond incredible experience! Our family vacations in Hawaii each year and we wanted to document our family in the place we love the most. Kylene was such a pleasure to work with! She was communicative and on top of everything. With 2 toddlers on vacation, I wanted our photoshoot location to be close to our hotel. Kylene and her team never shot at our selected location before. She went and made sure everything was in compliance and made sure we were comfortable before agreeing to the location. She really took care of everything A-Z. The delivery of photos was quick and we loved loved loved our photos so much!! We will definitely check with Kylene for another photoshoot when we visit the island again.

How do you photograph?
Based in Oahu, Hawaii, I specialize in Family photography that captures the genuine, emotive essence of your family. My process is intentional yet unobtrusive—focused, I will prompt through play and document the authentic moments rather than staged performances. I offer gentle guidance when beneficial, allowing events to unfold naturally. The result is a timeless collection of images that reflects your day exactly as it was, and you exactly as you are.
What if my kids act up?
It's 100% normal. As parents, you will notice more than I will. Kids will be kids, and we just lean into that. My style is more about documenting how you interact, so we will just change our plan as needed to accommodate to your kids needs. I prioritize creating a space where we go along with what the kids are doing. eventually they warm up,
how/when will we get our photos
All of my galleries will be delivered through an online gallery. Portrait sessions will be delivered within 3-4 weeks, and will be available in your gallery for 2 weeks.
