The Process
Once you have submitted your inquiry, you’ll get an automatic confirmation so you know your message was received. You can expect an email back from me within 24-48 hours with my investment guide and my availability.
2. Planning
Once you decide to move forward, I'll send over a custom proposal, pay your retainer, and sign your contract. Once you have completed everything, your date is officially secured.
1. After Your Inquiry
Now that your date is booked, I will be sending over a location guide to help you choose where you would like to shoot, as well as a questionnaire to get to know you and your family better. We can also discuss outfits. If you would like to hop on a call to discuss the vision for your session, I am happy to set up a call.
On the date of your session, I will create a space for you and your partner to just be yourselves. During my sessions, I offer guidance and prompting while providing space for freedom, allowing me to observe and build a space where actions can naturally occur. I am here to document you and your partner's connection. Your full gallery will be returned within 3-4 weeks in an online gallery where you can download and get prints right from the print shop.

My husband and I hired Kylene to take our maternity photos while we visited Hawaii in April 2025. Kylene was great to work with from start to finish with good communication, very organized and a friendly personality. I appreciate that she had a user friendly location guide that made choosing a location easy and stress free. She also went the extra mile to get on a call with me to help me choose a location based on the inspiration photos I sent her. Kylene was also very helpful with outfits. She sent me her outfit inspiration board and gave her opinions on outfits for our session which was very helpful. At our session, I genuinely had such a good time, the hour flew by. I never felt self conscious or uncomfortable. It truly felt like meeting up with a new friend. I am so happy with how the photos came out. The colors are beautiful, and we got a great variety of angles and poses, not to mention a gallery of 150 photos. Our gallery captured who we are as a family and our joy of welcoming a new baby into our family. I recommend Kylene to anyone in need of updated photos for any occasion.

Based in Oahu, Hawaii, I specialize in documentary and storytelling couples photography that captures the genuine, emotive essence of your story. My process is intentional, focused on documenting authentic moments rather than staged performances. I create a space that allows events to unfold naturally.
Do you Travel?
Absolutely. I'm a Hawaii-based couples photographer, but I regularly travel for destination sessions across the U.S. and beyond.
how/when will we get our photos
All of my galleries will be delivered through an online gallery. Portrait sessions will be delivered within 3-4 weeks, and will be available in your gallery for 2 weeks.
